Tick infestation is a major problem affecting farm animal welfare and productivity. The study was conducted to assess the nature of tick infestation, awareness methods control among eight purposively selected village panchayats district Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Further out these 8 panchayats, 200 dairy farmers were randomly during 2018-2019.The indicated that acute in hilly regions Himachal, India rely mainly on husbandry institutions for seeking scientific inputs/information. Synthetic acaricides widely practice (100.0%), though 40 percent relied both synthetic indigenous herbal medications. high use due presence veterinary every panchayat region. majority (79.5%) reported effective up 30 days only recurrent animals noticed.
